1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AC to GP-10 for the State.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the instant writ application has been filed seeking a direction upon the Collector, Motihari, East Champaran to expedite and dispose of Ceiling Case No.08 of 2006 (Mahanth Nathuni vs. the State of Bihar) at the earliest.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner thus submits that the Collector, Motihari, East Champaran be directed to dispose of the Ceiling Case within a time frame, on which the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that the writ application can be disposed of with the direction to the

4. Considering the submissions made by the parties, the District Collector, Motihari, East Champaran is directed to dispose of the Ceiling Case No.08 of 2006, preferably within a period of eighteen (18) months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, if possible.
