In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Kamtaul P.S. Case No.96 of 2016, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302 and 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the F.I.R. and the case diary the victim was not provided the food and water for 2 to 3 days and at the same time, she was assaulted badly, as a result of which, she became unconscious and ultimately died while going to the hospital. Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to exercise the discretion in favour of the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. If the petitioner
