JUSTICE SANJEEV PRAKASH SHARMA ORAL ORDER 27-03-2023 The petitioner's licence was cancelled vide order dated 30.05.2013 (Annexure-4), passed by the Sub-Divisional Officer, Sadar Bettiah, West Champaran.
From the documents, which have been placed by the petitioner on record, it does not reflect whether the petitioner has preferred any appeal against the said order before any appellate authority, as mentioned in Rule 32 of the Bihar Targeted Public Distribution System (Control) Order, 2016 or under earlier provisions.
It seems that for the first time, the petitioner submitted
Patna High Court CWJC No.110 of 2023(2) dt.27-03-2023 2/2 a representation on 23.06.2022 (Annexure-6) to the SubDivisional Officer, Bettiah, West Champaran seeking revival of her licence for the PDS shop. The claim of the petitioner suffers from gross laches and delay. After period of almost ten years of cancellation of licence, there is no occasion to entertain the present writ petition.
As such, the writ petition is dismissed.
