This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Gopalganj Town P.S. Case No.231 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8/20(b)(ii) (c) of the N.D.P.S. Act.

The recovery is of 16 Kgs. of ganja from the petitioner, who is in custody since 31.03.2023. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has clean antecedent and he has been falsely implicated by the police.

Considering the quantum of recovery of ganja, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of regular bail. Accordingly, this application is rejected.
