JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) Date: 17-07-2017 Inter alia contending that illegally various cow sheds (Khatals) have mushroomed in the city of Patna within the jurisdiction of the Patna Municipal Corporation, which is creating nuisance and hindrance to the public at large, particularly in the smooth moving of the traffic and contending that the representations to the S.S.P, Patna, D.S.P. Kotwali, Patna and S.H.O. Budha Colony have been not yielded any result, this application has been filed in public interest. Except for making bald allegations with regard to the issue in question, there are no specific details or statistics or the area or the particulars where the aforesaid activities detrimental to the public interest are going on.

Patna High Court CWJC No.9653 of 2017 dt.17-07-2017 2/2 Keeping in view the aforesaid, we are of the view that the interest of justice would be met in case the petitioner is granted liberty to submit a representation to the Commissioner of Patna Municipal Corporation, Patna and Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna, who shall look into the grievance of the petitioner and proceed to take action in accordance with law.
