Merely because the petitioner has retired from Railway's service, it does not absolve him from the responsibility of
Patna High Court CWJC No.11939 of 2017(4) dt.07-11-2017 2/2 accounts of the Store, for which he had been given responsibility and he never handed over charge at the time of his superannuation.
This writ application is disposed off with a direction that if the petitioner is willing to explain the accounts even at this juncture to the competent authority, the respondent- authorities will re-look into the matter and the amount accounted for, will be deducted from the account of the petitioner or else the order of the Central Administrative Tribunal, dated 26.05.2017, shall operate.
Writ Application stands disposed off in terms of above. The petitioner is willing to account for within a period of two months. Let him do so.
