The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1.(i) A writ in the nature of

Patna High Court CWJC No.117 of 2023(2) dt.04-09-2023 2/2 Mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order be issued commanding the respondents authorities to remove the encroachment on the Public road and land belonging to the petitioner appertaining to Survey Khata No.93, 124, 27, 117, Khesra No. 1174, 1176, 1177, 1178, 1179 and 1180 in MouzaBishambhapur, District-Samastipur." 2.

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of the aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
