Petitioner is accused in connection with Special Case No. 6942 of 2019 arising out of Agamkuan P.S. Case No. 709 of 2019 registered under Sections 30(a)(b)/37(c)/38 and 41 of the Excise Act.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. It is submitted that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 02.08.2019.
