2. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief/s:

(i) for issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to refrain from encroaching upon the raiyat lands of the petitioner for construction of Rampur Dumra-Tal-Rajendrapul Additional Bridge and Doubling Project;

Patna High Court CWJC No.17548 of 2025(2) dt.17-11-2025 2/3 (ii) for issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to take steps to initiate land acquisition proceedings and pay compensation to the petitioner for his land being taken possession of by the respondents for Rampur Dumra-Tal Rajendrapul Additional Bridge and Doubling Project as well as payment of compensation for the standing crops of the petitioner which has been destroyed in pursuance of the arbitrary action of the respondent authorities;

(iii) for grant of any other incidental or consequential relief/reliefs to which the petitioner may be found entitled to considering the facts and circumstances. of the present case..

3. Learned State counsel submits that the petitioner should move before the respondent no.6, the Land Acquisition Officer, Patna for the redressal of the grievance.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that an appropriate petition shall be filed in next four weeks.

5. If such petition is preferred before the said authority, the same will be taken to its logical conclusion at an earliest.

6. Granting said liberty, the writ petition is disposed of.
