2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jandaha P.S. Case No. 88 of 2022 registered for the offence punishable under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 4 and 6 of the POCSO Act.

3. The petitioner is accused of committing rape with a six year old child.

4. The petitioner is custody since 26.03.2022.

5. Learned APP for the State has opposed the present bail application and has submitted that the trial has already commenced and therefore, this Court may not grant bail to the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.71316 of 2025(4) dt.19-12-2025 2/2 petitioner.

6. Considering the gravity of offence and also the fact that the trial has already commenced, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
