2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Bachhwara P.S. Case No. 161 of 2025 dated 14.05.2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 303(2), 110, 351(2), 352 read with Section 3(5) of the B.N.S.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and the co-accused persons are alleged to have assaulted the grandson of the informant and committed loot of Rs. 20,000/-, bank passbook, PAN card, mobile and golden chain from the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.71520 of 2025(2) dt.17-11-2025 2/3 informant's grandson. Thereafter, they demanded Rs. 2 lakh as ransom from his grandfather. On being opposed by the informant's grandson, they assaulted him and fled away from there.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. It is further submitted that the injuries sustained by injured are simple in nature which is on non-vital part of the body, mentioned at para-16 of the bail petition. The petitioner has no concern with the alleged offence. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 15.07.2025.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State and learned counsel for the informant have vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Begusarai in connection with Bachhwara P.S. Case

7. The application stands allowed.
