The prayer for grant of bail was earlier rejected by this Court vide order dated 10.12.2020, passed in Cr. Misc. No.30212 of 2020.

By order dated 04.01.2023, a report with regard to present status of the case and the time likely to be taken in conclusion of trial in connection with Turkauliya (Raghunathpur) P.S. Case No.813 of 2019 (S.T. No.58 of 2021) was called for from the learned trial court.

Perused the report at Flag 'A'.

The learned 20th Additional District & Sessions Judge, East Champaran, Motihari has reported that out of ten chargesheet witnesses, six witnesses have been fully examined and

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.75098 of 2022(3) dt.15-02-2023 2/2 cross-examined and P.W.7 (I.O. of the case) has not been fully examined. It is also reported that the trial is likely to be concluded within six months.

Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner is hereby rejected. The learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within a period of six months.
