The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Sugauli P.S. Case no. 425 of 2017, registered under Sections 341, 323, 498(A) and 365/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of D.P. Act.

The accusation is that informant Deepkali Devi performed marriage of her daughter Sarswati Devi with her villager Basdeo Giri. After marriage, her daughter was being tortured for demand of dowry and later on her daughter was kidnapped by her husband and other in-laws.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are mother-in-law and father-in-law of the daughter

Further submission is that, in fact, daughter of the informant left the house without giving information to any family members, but informant with ulterior motive lodged the present case with false allegation. Further submission is that earlier informant and others caused assault to the petitioners regarding which Sugauli P.S. Case No. 389 of 2017 was instituted on 17.11.2017 against the family members of the informant of the present case.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioners, be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari in connection with Sugauli P.S. Case No. 425 of 2017, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C. (Rajendra Kumar Mishra, J) manish/- U T
