JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 24-11-2017 Heard learned Counsel for the parties concerned. This writ application has been filed on behalf of Jehal Prasad Teachers Training College, Pathra English, in the district of Nawada, seeking a direction to the respondent-Magadh University to grant and issue the order of permanent affiliation to the institution in terms of Section 14 (6) (a) of the National Council for Teacher Education Act, 1993.

It is the case of the petitioner that the National Council for Teacher Education had granted recognition by an order,

Patna High Court CWJC No.16830 of 2017(2) dt.24-11-2017 2/2 dated 02.05.2017, to the institution for conducting B. Ed. Course of Two-year duration with an intake of 50 from the academic session 2017-18. Since the University has not granted affiliation, the College, in question, is not in a position to conduct the course despite recognition having been already granted by the National Council for Teacher Education. Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has drawn my attention to Annexure-2 to the writ application, whereby the University has been requested to issue orders for payment of inspection fee and grant affiliation in accordance with the Regulations, but till date no decision has been communicated.

In view of the facts and circumstances, I dispose of the writ application, at this stage itself, with a direction to the respondent nos. 1, 2 and 3 to consider the case of the petitioner and if any application with a request to conduct inspection and grant of affiliation is pending, a decision must be taken thereon within a period of two months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
