This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Dhaka P.S. Case No.261 of 2013 registered for the offence punishable under sections 414, 386, 387/34, under sections 25(1-B) (a), 26 and 35 of the Arms Act and under sections 10, 17 and 38 of the U.A.P.A.

On the basis of a secret information, the police raided and upon seeing the police party, some Maoist tried to flee away but some of them were apprehended. Upon search, country made pistol, live cartridge, motorcycle and other incriminating materials were recovered from apprehended persons. They had disclosed the name of other associates. The petitioner was not caught on the spot.

The case is of the year 2013 itself and since

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.70939 of 2025(2) dt.14-10-2025 2/2 then the petitioner was absconding. He is in custody since 09.07.2025.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is a member of Maoist gang and is an absconder, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this bail application is rejected.
