Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Raghunathpur P.S. Case No. - 181 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under sections 272, 273, 308 of the Indian Penal Code and 30, 38, 41 of the Bihar Excise Prevention Act, 2016.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been implicated in the present case on the basis of the confessional statement made by the co-accused. The Motorcycle and the Pickup Van from where the recovery is said to have been made does not belong to this petitioner. Similarly situated co-accused person has been granted bail by this Honorable Court vide order contained in Annexure-2.
