JUSTICE ALOK KUMAR PANDEY ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 30-10-2024 In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for the following relief(s):- For a direction to the respondent no-6 i.e Circle Officer, Haveli Kharagpur, District-Munger to proceed in furtherance of report of Anchal Amin, Halka Kharagpur, Anchal- Haveli Kharagpur, District Munger, (Annexure-P/1) and conclude Demarcation Case No- 12/2020- 21 which is pending since long.
(ii) For direction/directions commanding the respondent no-4 i.e The Superintendent of Police, Munger to provide adequate security/ police force and facilitate the completion of measurement work and to take

(iii) For a direction to the respondent authorities to take appropriate action against the erring police officials of Haveli Kharagpur Police Station who have been acting under the influence of local antisocial elements. (iv) For any such other relief or reliefs to which the petitioner may be found entitled in course of hearing of this writ application.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that report of Anchal Amin, Haveli Kharagpur (Munger) [AnnexureP/4] indicates that measurement of land in question has not been done on account of protest made by some persons but the District Administration, Munger has not taken any action against the persons who made protest in the measurement of land in question. He further submits that Demarcation Case No. 12/2020-21 is pending before the Circle Officer, Haveli Kharagpur, District Munger since long.
3. Main thrust of the petitioner's counsel is measurement of land, as mentioned in Annexure-P/6 to the writ petition.
4. Learned counsel for the State assured this Court that Demarcation Case No. 12/2020-21 pending before the Circle Officer, Haveli Kharagpur, District Munger would be

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the present writ petition stands disposed of with direction to the Circle Officer, Haveli Kharagpur, District Munger to dispose of Demarcation Case No. 12/2020-21 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of this order in accordance with law.
