The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections 8/20(b)(i)(c)/25/29 of the NDPS Act. Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide Annexure-1 to the present application with a direction to the trial court to conclude the trial, preferably, within a period of one year from the date of receipt/production of copy of the order.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. There is no allegation of tampering of witnesses alleged against the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 20-07-2018. There is no chance of the trial to be concluded in near future. There is no compliance

On behalf of the State, it is submitted that the petitioner is named in the Complaint Case/F.I.R.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Lakhisarai in connection with NDPS (Special) Case No. 11 of 2018 arising out of Barahiya P.S. Case No. 134 of 2018.
