In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Jehanabad (Taregna) P.S. Case No. 66 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 186, 447, 341, 323, 325, 307, 332, 333, 337, 338, 353, 380, 427, 435, 436, 506, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code, Section 3/4 of Damage to Public Property Act, Section 146, 147, 151, 153, 174 of Railway Act and Section 27 of Arms Act.

As per allegation a mob of students had called strike for protesting against the Central Government Agniveer scheme. A number of students and other persons have become accused. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is under custody since 18.06.2022 and on similar

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9707 of 2023(4) dt.02-05-2023 2/2 allegation a number of accused persons have been granted bail by the coordinate Bench of this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 74091 of 2022. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above-named be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court of Rail Magistrate, Patna, District- Patna in connection with Jehanabad (Taregna) P.S. Case No. 66 of 2022, subject to the following conditions:- (i) The petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.

(ii) If the petitioner is found involved in future in the similar type of offence, the prosecution will have liberty to file an application before the court below for cancellation of the bail of the petitioner and the learned court below will take decision in accordance with law.
