JUSTICE SANDEEP KUMAR ORAL ORDER 22-01-2025 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned APP for the State and learned counsel for the O.P. No. 02/informant.

2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Harnaut P.S. Case No. 245 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 376 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4/6 of the POCSO Act.

3. Petitioner is accused of committing rape with a seven years old. The victim has supported the prosecution case in her statement.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence and the

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State as well as the learned counsel for the informant have vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the gravity of offence and nature of accusation, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail is dismissed.
