ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 21-11-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the Patliputra University. Learned counsel for the State of Bihar is also present. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the sanction order has been issued in favour of the petitioner and the matter has been sent from Nalanda Mahila College, Biharsharif, which is a Constituent Unit of Patliputra University, but the authorities are not releasing the money in favour of the petitioner, causing him serious financial strain. It is submitted
Patna High Court CWJC No.21125 of 2019(2) dt.21-11-2019 2/2 that for reasons best known to the University, the authorities are not releasing the money though the sanction was made on 23.01.2019. It appears that there are forces within the University who have been sitting back on the issue, causing hardship to the petitioner.
This Court wholly deprecates the attitude of the University and directs that the University shall make payment of the legitimate dues of the petitioner which have already been sanctioned to the tune of Rs.65,773/- (Sixty-five thousand seven hundred seventy three only), which is the bill raised by the College to the University. Let the University pay forthwith the amount on or before the 2nd of December, 2019. In view of the aforementioned directions, it is expected that the University shall release the money forthwith. The writ application is, accordingly, disposed of. (Anjana Mishra, J) PNM U
