Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner seeks to file a detailed representation before the District Programme Officer (Establishment), Nalanda, for the relief(s) as prayed for in the present writ petition taking into consideration that the elder brother of the petitioner was getting family pension.

3. The deceased employee, who is the father of the petitioner, had retired on 31.01.1995 and had died on 25.09.2000 and government circulars provide for family pension till 25 years.

4. Considering the aforesaid submission made on behalf of the petitioner, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the District Programme Officer (Establishment), Nalanda, to take a conscious view of all the circulars relevant in respect of the petitioner, whose father had retired on 31.01.1995 and had died on 25.09.2000, and if it is found that the petitioner is entitled for family pension in terms of the government circulars and pension rules till any point of time, the same must be paid to him along with interest on account of delay within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.
