JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 11-01-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Atri P. S. Case No. 21 of 2004 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 302 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code, 27 of the Arms Act, 17 CLA Act and 135(A) and 136(A) of the R.P. Act.

Regard being had to the gravity of the offences in which one homeguard was killed and the miscreants looted away rifle, cartridges, voting machines, papers and other belongings of the patrolling party, I am not inclined to grant pre-arrest bail to the petitioner, whose name transpired in

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.508 of 2018 (2) dt.11-01-2018 2/2 course of investigation. Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.
