2. It has been apprised to this Court that the issue raised before this Court was duly considered by the learned Division Bench of this Court in Devmuni Paswan v. The State of Bihar & Ors. [2023(2) PLJR 425], wherein the declaration of Clause 5(7) of the Bihar Chaukidari Cadre (Amendment) Rules, 2014 held ultra vires and violative of Articles 14 and 16 of the Constitution of India. The challenge to the decision rendered by the learned Division Bench has also failed before

Patna High Court CWJC No.21633 of 2019(4) dt.02-07-2025 2/2 the Apex Court.

3. In view of the aforesaid fact, no relief could be granted to the petitioner. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands dismissed.
