====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE BIRENDRA KUMAR ORAL ORDER 04-11-2019 Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to correct the date of custody mentioned in the bail petition in course of the day.

Permission is accorded.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 384 and 387 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation is of demand of ransom on mobile call. The caller was saying that he is Kunal Singh (the petitioner). Submission is that neither the referred mobile number is of the petitioner nor there is any claim that voice of the petitioner was identified by the informant. The petitioner has been falsely implicated due to criminal antecedent. Petitioner is

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.65097 of 2019(2) dt.04-11-2019 2/2 in custody since 13.07.2018. Investigation of the case is already complete.

Considering the facts aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with G.R. Case No. 4269 of 2017 arising out of Chhatauni Police Station Case No. 172 of 2017, subject to the following conditions:- (a) That all the conditions of bail mentioned under Section 437(3) Cr.P.C. including the condition that the petitioner shall not leave the country without permission of the Court shall be applicable.

(b) That the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the learned court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
