The instant application for regular bail has been filed by the petitioner in connection with Amnour P.S. Case No. 142 of 2022 instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 447, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Earlier the application for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by order dated 15.03.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 57632 of 2022 with an observation to learned trial court to expedite the trial and conclude the same as soon as possible.

No.20 of 2024(4) dt.03-04-2024 2/2 In pursuance to the direction of this Court, a report with regard to present stage of trial dated 06.02.2024 has been received and the same is kept at Flag T. From its perusal it appears that the trial is likely to be concluded in 12 months.

No fresh ground is made for reconsideration of the regular bail of the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for grant of regular bail is rejected.

Accordingly, petition stands disposed off.

However, learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within a period of six months, failing which, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer of bail. (Sunil Kumar Panwar, J) Nirajkrs/- U T
