The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Madhuban P.S. Case No. 272 of 2018, registered for offence punishable under Sections 356 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused, namely, Lalbabu Bhagat. Further submission is that nothing incriminating has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner and he was not put on Test Identification Parade. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 17.05.2019.
