2. The petitioner has prayed for bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. The case of the prosecution is that the informant received an information on mobile that his sister Sarali Devi, aged about 35 years who was married to Rajan Dom has been killed by her in-laws. She was being assaulted with lathi, danda and knife. After this, the informant went to the matrimonial house of the deceased and found that she was lying dead. After that the local police was informed and the deceased was brought to hospital where she was declared dead. It has further been submitted that the sister of the informant was being subjected to

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased. The husband of the deceased is also in custody. There is no specific allegation against anybody. The petitioner is having no criminal antecedent. The petitioner is in custody since 24.03.2024.
5. The application for bail is opposed by learned APP for the State. He submits that from perusal of the post mortem report it transpires that the deceased has received multiple bruises over her face and neck. Her face was swollen. She had also received multiple stab injuries.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, since the petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased and there is no direct allegation against the petitioner, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court of Additional Sessions Judge-IV, Bhojpur at Ara in connection with Shahpur P.S. Case No. 121 of 2024.

7. Accordingly, the present bail application stands allowed.
