2. The petitioner has moved the Court against the order dated 09.08.2016 by which he has been placed under suspension.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that pursuant to the order of suspension, a chargesheet was submitted on him but the same was withdrawn as per the directions of the police headquarters and the matter has again been referred to the police headquarters but no reply has been sent.

4. At the very outset, learned Advocate General intervened and submitted that regardless of what the stage is, it shall be ensured that the departmental proceeding against the petitioner is taken to its logical conclusion within three months.
5. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed off with a direction to the concerned authorities to ensure that the departmental proceeding against the petitioner is taken to its logical conclusion within three months from the date of production of a copy of this order before the respondent no. 2.
