2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 103(2), 61(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. Petitioner is not named in the FIR. During investigation, co-accused Munshi Yadav and co-accused Pritam Yadav in their confessional statements, contained in paragraphs 36 & 47 of the case diary, have stated that this petitioner shot at Subham Mishra causing his death. In the post mortem report, doctor has opined that Subham Mishra died of fire arms injury. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and he is in custody since 12.4.2025.

4. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

5. Considering the nature of accusation, materials collected during investigation, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. Since petitioner is in custody since 21.4.2025, let the trial be expedited and concluded preferably within a year. Shashi (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) U T
