Patna High Court CWJC No.134 of 2023(2) dt.21-02-2023 2/2 the order of the Hon'ble Division Bench in LPA No. 167 of 2016. Today itself, this Court has disposed of a batch of writ petitions, the lead case being CWJC No. 17523 of 2015 in which similar orders have been passed.

Keeping in view the judgment of the Hon'ble Division Bench and other judgments of this Court which have been referred in similar matters, since all these petitioners are said to be the employees of the Rohtas Collectorate, the District Magistrate, Rohtas (Sasaram) (Respondent No. 3) is directed to examine the case of the petitioners in the light of the judgment/order dated 23.06.2017 passed by Hon'ble Division Bench in LPA No. 167 of 2016 as well as the other orders of this Court and the consequential orders issued vide Order No. 75/2022-23 by the Collector, Rohtas (Sasaram) and take an appropriate decision in respect of the petitioners as well within three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

It goes without saying that in case the petitioners are found similar to those who have been granted benefit of the pay scale of Rs.4,000-6,000 in place of Rs.3,050-4,590, they would also be entitled for the consequential reliefs.
