1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioners have preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Hathauri P.S. Case no.298 of 2021 registered under sections 304B, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the informant states that his daughter was married to the son of the two petitioners herein. She was tortured for demand of dowry by way of a motorcycle and a gold chain and ultimately done to death.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in the case for the reason that they are the father-in-law and mother-in-law of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.76788 of 2023(4) dt.29-02-2024 2/2 deceased. As per instructions received, the husband of the deceased surrendered in the learned trial Court on 23.12.2023. The petitioners are in custody since 26.08.2023 and have no criminal antecedent. Chargesheet has been submitted in the case.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegations against the petitioners in the F.I.R., the husband of the deceased having been taken into custody on 23.12.2023, the petitioners having been remained in custody since 6 months since 26.8.2023, not having any criminal antecedent and chargesheet having been submitted in the case, the Court directs both the petitioners to be enlarged on bail in connection with Hathauri P.S. Case no.298 of 2021 on each of them furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned J.M. 1st Class, Muzaffarpur East, District Muzaffarpur.
