2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Bakhri P.S. Case No. 64 of 2023, lodged on 19.03.2023 under Sections 304B/302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. The prayer for bail of the petitioner has earlier been rejected vide order dated 07.11.2023 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 70857 of 2023
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. The antecedent of the petitioner is clean and he is in custody since 27.05.2023.
5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that on earlier occasion, a report with
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.78486 of 2024(3) dt.12-02-2025 2/2 regard to the present stage of the trial and the time frame in which the trial is likely to be concluded, has been called for.
6. Upon perusal of the said report, it transpires to this Court that till date appearance of the accused persons has not been completed. As such, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.
7. Accordingly, the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner in connection with Bakhri P.S. Case No. 64 of 2023, pending before the learned C.J.M., Begusarai, is hereby rejected.
