In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Baniapur P.S. Case No.62 of 2012, arising out of Complaint Case No. 248 of 2012, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 354, 379, 376 and 511 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation has been made that when the father of the victim girl has opposed the teasing by the petitioner, he was assaulted badly. On the fateful day, the victim girl was lifted on the lap and put handkerchief into her mouth, so that she may not raise alarm. Later on, the handkerchief fell down from the mouth, the victim started alarming, whereafter, the father of the victim

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.23603 of 2017 (2) dt.20-07-2017 2/2 came there, but the petitioner also assaulted him. Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected.
