1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel-22 for the State.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the instant writ application has been filed for seeking a direction upon the Collector, Muzaffarpur to dispose of Jamabandi Cancellation Appeal No.72 of 2018 within a time frame.
3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that Jamabandi Cancellation Appeal No.72 of
Patna High Court CWJC No.18711 of 2024(3) dt.17-06-2025 2/2 2018 is pending adjudication in the Court of the Collector, Muzaffarpur for the last more than seven years.
4. The learned State Counsel submits that the writ application can be disposed of with a direction to the Collector, Muzaffarpur to dispose of the Jamabandi Cancellation Appeal No.72 of 2018 within a time frame.
5. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, the writ application is disposed of with a direction to the Collector, Muzaffarpur to dispose of the Jamabandi Cancellation Appeal No.72 of 2018 within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order in accordance with law after giving proper opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
