2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Gopalpur P.S. Case No. 53 of 2024, registered for the offence under Sections 8/20 (B)II(C), 23 (C) and 29 of the NDPS Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, 20 Kg. 560 gms. of ganja was recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. Petitioner is in custody since 28.04.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the huge quantity of recovery which is more than commercial quantity, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail is dismissed.

8. The trial Court is directed to expedite the trial. If the trial is delayed, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Saif/- U T
