====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SUNIL KUMAR PANWAR ORAL ORDER 19-12-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

The petitioner has filed the instant application for grant of regular bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 384, 386, 379, 411, 387, 414, 420, 467, 471, 120, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged by the informant that informant is proprietor of a brick-kiln and it is alleged that some unknown miscreants have demanded levy amount of Rs. 2 lakhs through mobile and also threatened of dire consequences, if demand is not fulfilled.

No.82241 of 2023(2) dt.19-12-2023 2/3 It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in the present case. Neither the petitioner is named in F.I.R. nor he is concerned with the mobile number from which demand of ransom has been made. It is further submitted that demand of ransom has not been executed. The name of petitioner arrayed in this case on the confessional statement of co-accused Shankar Yadav. Moreover, the petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 2.5.2023. Similarly situated coaccused, Munna aSingh @ Ravi Ranjan Singh has been granted bail vide order dated 29.08.2023, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 54396 of 2023 by this Court.

Learned APP appearing for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for Bail.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case as well as period of custody, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.

Case No. 368 of 2022 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Jehanabad.
