2. This writ application has been filed for the following reliefs:- "(i) quashing Praptra-Ka' contained in Letter No.641(R) dated 23.08.2022 of Respondent-the Registrar, J.P. University, Chapra by the order of the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, J.P. University, issued to the petitioner in respect of a vague charge which is no charge in the eye of law and also for quashing the entire departmental proceeding arising there from and consequentially quash Letter No.643 (R) dated 23.08.2022 of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.18367 of 2022(2) dt.19-11-2024 2/3 Registrar, Jai Prakash University, Chapra written to the petitioner handing over memo of charge.

(ii) quashing Notification contained in Letter No.642(R) dated 23.08.2022 whereby and where under Dr. K.K. Baitha, Principal, Jagdam College, Chapra has been appointed as Enquiring Officer and Dr Shekhar Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science, NLS College, Jaitpur, Daudpur, Saran has been appointed as Presenting Officer for the purpose of initiation of departmental proceeding against the petitioner;

(iii) for any other relief / reliefs as Your Lordships may think fit."

At the outset, learned counsels appearing on behalf of the respondents submit that during pendency of this case Prapatr-Ka contained in Letter No. 641(R) dated 23.08.2022 issued by the Registrar, Jai Prakash University, Chapra (Respondent No. 4) and letter bearing Letter No. 642 (R) dated 23.08.2022 issued by Dr. Krishna Kumar Baitha, Principal, Jagdam College, Chapra-cum-the Enquiry Officer (Respondent No. 6) has already been cancelled and as such, this writ application has become infructuous.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner is not in a position to dispute the above contentions.

5. In the above facts and circumstances of the case, no interference is required by this Court.

6. Accordingly, this writ application stands disposed of.
