The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Dhanaha P.S. Case No.266 of 2022 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 366-A/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 8 of the POCSO Act.

It is alleged that the petitioner has kidnapped the victim girl.

From the statement of the victim girl recorded under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. it appears that it is a case of elopement.

Considering the aforesaid facts, this application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand)

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.78837 of 2023(3) dt.29-02-2024 2/2 with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, POCSO-cum- ADJ, VII, Bettiah, West Champaran, in connection with Dhanaha P.S. Case No.266 of 2022, subject to the condition that he will cooperate in the trial.
