2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Teghra P.S. Case No. 155 of 2025 dated 20.05.2025 registered for the offences punishable u/ss 126(2), 115(2), 303(2), 308(2), 109 read with section 3(5) of the BNS.

3. As per the prosecution case, five FIR named accused persons and 8-10 unknown miscreants are alleged to have demanded an extortion of Rs. 50,000/- and on non-payment, they assaulted the informant, causing injuries. They also snatched Rs. 29,000/- and a gold chain of the informant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.71660 of 2025(2) dt.15-10-2025 2/2 case. The informant sustained grievous injury. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. Similarly situated co-accused has already been granted bail by the co-ordinate bench of this court vide order dated 27.08.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 55078 of 2025. The petitioner has clean antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 20.06.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner by submitting that there is specific allegation against the petitioner of assaulting the informant on his head causing grievous injury to him.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Begusarai in connection with Teghra P.S. Case No. 155 of 2025.

7. The application stands allowed.
