JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 19-11-2019 The petitioner has prayed for directing the respondent District Arms Magistrate, Nalanda to dispose of the pending case of the petitioner for grant of arms licence, which has become alive for fresh adjudication, after the matter has been remanded back by the learned Commissioner, Patna Division, Patna vide order dated 22.12.2018 passed in Arms Appeal No. 18 of 2017, after setting aside the order dated 31.01.2017 passed by the District Arms Magistrate, Nalanda, whereby and whereunder the application of the petitioner for grant of arms licence was rejected.

Having regard to the short prayer made by the petitioner in the present case, I deem it fit and proper to direct

Patna High Court CWJC No.22002 of 2019(2) dt.19-11-2019 2/2 the District Arms Magistrate, Nalanda to dispose of the pending application of the petitioner for grant of arms licence within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed of on the aforesaid terms.
