The case is registered under sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 427, 452, 504, 506 and 436 of the Indian Penal Code and later Section 302 was added, in connection with Banka (Barahat) P.S. Case No. 392 of 2020.

Earlier the petitioner had moved before this Court vide Cr. Misc. No. 36346 of 2020 which was rejected on 19.9.2022 with direction to the trial court to conclude the trial within a period of one year. However, without waiting for the said one year, the petitioner has chosen once again to move before this Court despite fact that the case being of 2020, he finally came into judicial custody only on 23.3.2022. The prosecution story, in brief, is that the accused persons including the petitioner herein surrounded the house of

Taking into account the aforesaid facts, this Court is not inclined to grant relief and the bail application is rejected. The learned Trial Court is directed to take into account the earlier order dated 19.9.2022 passed by this Court and conclude the trial within the specified period without unnecessary adjournments.
