JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 11-11-2024 The limited prayer made in the present writ petition is to direct the Secretary, Building Construction Department, Govt. of Bihar, Patna to decide the appeal filed by the

Patna High Court CWJC No.16423 of 2024(2) dt.11-11-2024 2/2 petitioners, under Section 8 of the Bihar Government Premises (Rent Recovery and Eviction) Act, 1956, against the order dated 25.01.2024, passed in Building Misc. Case No.8 of 2023, within a stipulated time frame.

2. The learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that in case any appeal has been filed by the petitioners and the same is pending consideration, the same would definitely be disposed off within a stipulated time frame, as is fixed by this Court.

3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the Secretary, Building Construction Department, Govt. of Bihar, Patna to dispose off the aforesaid appeal, in case the same has actually been filed and is still pending consideration, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from today.

4. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
