2.The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 74 of 2023, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 494, 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3⁄4 of the D.P. Act.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is ready to keep the victim with full dignity and honour. Notice was sent to the victim (O.P. No. 2), which was received by her mother, but none appeared.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, the provisional bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 13.11.2024 is hereby confirmed.

5. The learned court below shall take endeavor for

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.74981 of 2024(4) dt.15-09-2025 2/2 mediation and conciliation between the parties, either by itself or through the District Mediation Centre. After the completion of the mediation process, if it comes to the notice of the learned court below that the mediation was unsuccessful due to the apathy and reluctance of the petitioner, the learned court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner. However, if it comes to his notice that opposite party no. 2 is apathetic towards restoration of cordial relations, there shall be no interference with the order granting bail.
