This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offences under Section 290 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of Bihar Excise Act.

From the Khalihan of co-accused Amar Nath Rai huge quantity of liquor was allegedly recovered on 31.03.2017. On that date, the petitioner was in custody in connection with some other case. However, he was remanded in this case on 04.04.2017 from that case. Apparently, on the date of alleged recovery, which was not from the house or land of the petitioner, the petitioner was in custody.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24073 of 2017 (2) dt.17-05-2017 2/2 named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise, Addl. Sessions Judge IVth, Patna in connection with Maner P.S. Case No. 141/2017.
