Patna High Court CWJC No.16455 of 2023(2) dt.20-04-2024 2/3 26/2020 by the District Magistrate, whereby and whereunder the highest marks 76% obtained by the petitioner which was rejected and lesser marks 66% has been selected, which is illegal only one ground for absent on 12.12.2018 and without obtaining the permission of Director I.C.D.S., Bihar.

(ii) For issuance of an appropriate writ or writs in the nature of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ or writs, direction directions, order or orders for direction to the respondent/respondents to appoint the petitioner on the post of Anganwari Sewika at Centre (Kendra) Baladas, Ward No. 11, Code No. 260, Block-Kutumba in the District of Aurangabad which was held on 22.12.2018."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, including that of filing a suit before the Ld. Civil Court having
