The petitioner filed this writ petition for a direction to the Anchal Adhikari (Circle Officer), Lakhisarai to dispose of the representation filed by the petitioner on 17.02.2012. On the face of it, it appears that the Circle Officer is legally obliged to dispose of the representation of the petitioner within a reasonable time but after lapse of more than seven years the same is still pending.

Having considered the facts aforesaid, I dispose of this writ petition with a direction to Circle Officer, Lakhisarai to dispose of representation of the petitioner within two months from the date of receipt of this order.
