JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 22-01-2020 The petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to the respondents to consider her case for compassionate appointment in the event of death of her father-in-law in harness.
It has been submitted that the petitioner is a widow and she has a small child to cater to. During the pendency of this writ petition, the brother of the late husband of the petitioner was granted compassionate appointment, who actually stands higher in terms of
Patna High Court CWJC No.21299 of 2019(2) dt.22-01-2020 2/2 preference for such consideration.
In that view of the matter, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this petition with a right reserved to her to approach the competent authority for ensuring that the compassionate appointee takes care of the family as it is only for such purpose that such appointment is given.
The petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty aforesaid.
