Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the respondents.

Two folds grievance have been raised in the present writ application. Firstly; notwithstanding in the registration form, the date of birth of petitioner no.1 is shown as 28.8.2002 it has wrongly been incorporated in certificate as 28.8.2003. Secondly;

Patna High Court CWJC No.21072 of 2019(2) dt.18-10-2019 2/2 the name of the mother of petitioner no.1 has been wrongly mentioned as Sudha Devi, instead of Sudha Kumari. Mr. Vinay Krishna Tripathy, learned counsel for the CBSE submits that the CBSE has acted upon at the information furnished by the school, in question. However, he submits that if the petitioners complete the formality for correction through the school, in question, the CBSE will do the needful. Considering the aforesaid, the writ application is disposed of with a direction to Gurukul Vidyalaya, Jaranga, Muzaffarpur (respondent no.3) to forward the case of the petitioner for correction of the date of birth consistent with the entries made in the registration form i.e. 28.08.

2002 and also forward the case of the petitioner for correction in the name of mother of petitioner no.1, as Sudha Kumari instead of Sudha Devi within a period of fortnight from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order and on forwarding the same, the CBSE will do the needful at the earliest in any event before the registration of petitioner no.1 at 12th standard.
