The petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Rampur Chouram P.S. Case No. 30/2017 registered for offence punishable under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code.
On perusal of the case diary it appears that the victims' statements about demand of illegal gratification by this petitioner have supported the case lodged by the Block Development Officer.
In view of the nature of allegations I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to this petitioner. The application is dismissed.
